Simple 3 step process.
1. Choose your Sate and enter Date of Birth, Zip code, etc. Can purchase more than 30 days of coverage up front, if needed. 2. Choose benefits, if a monthly payment option is chosen you will have a choice of either a 6 month or 12 month benefit period. If you choose an exact number of days option, usually up to 180 days, your premium will be shown on the quote page. The "Brown Button" on the progress meter will take you back to the start, if needed. 3. Apply on-line if benefits are needed immediately or even in 60 days.

  • Children under age 19 or under age 25 if a full time student qualify. Child only coverage is available for ages 2 through 18.
  • Ten day Free Look Period, full refund of premium if no claims are filed and the "Certificate of Insurance" is returned within 10 days.
  • “Precertification” phone call to the insurance company is required at least 48 hours prior to a planned surgery or hospital stay, etc.
  • Pay attention to excluded coverage like dental work.
  • Some procedures have special limitations like knee surgery.
  • Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
  • Must answer no to 8 on-line underwriting questions to be considered eligible.
  • Coverage starts at 12:01 AM on the day following your on-line application is received or up to 60 days in the future, subject to approval and payment of first premium.
  • Two payment options are available, either monthly or you may choose the exact number of days you need coverage, up to 180 days. You will receive a SPECIAL REDUCED RATE for the Single Payment Option.
  • There are a range of deductibles available, the higher the deductible the lower your monthly premium.
  • Your Short-Term Medical Plan depending on your choices will either pay 80% or 50% co-insurance of covered expenses.
  • Choosing a lower amount of 50% co-insurance instead of 80% will require less premium because it is less coverage.
